Build Beautiful Pollinator Gardens

Help transform overgrown areas in Pittsfield, Maine into vibrant wildflower gardens

What's the plan?

We'll be clearing out overgrown brush, weeds, and grass — turning neglected spots into thriving gardens full of native wildflowers. These gardens will support pollinator populations and add beauty and life to our community.

How can you help?

Volunteers will be involved in:

Garden Work

  • Weeding and clearing brush
  • Weed whacking and raking
  • Planting wildflowers and native plants
  • Tilling

Equipment Welcome!

While much of the work is manual and hand-held, any helpful equipment such as tractors, rototillers, or other tools can make the job easier and faster. Your help can really make a difference!

Bonus!

The first area we work on often has wild fiddleheads in the spring. Volunteers are welcome to harvest these delicious, native ferns during cleanup — a tasty bonus while helping the environment!
