Honey Butter Cornbread

Moist and fluffy cornbread with a touch of sweetness from Maine raw honey

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Maine raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease 8x8 baking pan.

    Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.

    Whisk wet ingredients together.

    Combine wet and dry until just mixed.

    Pour into prepared pan.

    Bake 20-25 minutes until golden.

    Brush with honey butter while warm.
