Honey Lavender Cookies

Delicate butter cookies infused with Maine honey and dried lavender flowers

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup Maine raw honey
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tsp dried culinary lavender

Instructions

   Preheat oven to 375°F.

   Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl.

   Beat butter, honey, and sugar until fluffy.

   Add eggs and vanilla to butter mixture.

   Fold in flour mixture and lavender.

   Drop by spoonfuls onto baking sheet.

   Bake 9-11 minutes until golden.
